INTRODUCING NATURALLY-DELIVERED AND FAIRTRADE BRAND COCE SKINCARE
Carla Valois Lobo
Focused on natural, yet effective formulations, Coce has recently lauched its first product, the wonderfully-scented Prickly Pear Oil & Mullein Oil Body Cream. Needless to say, it does not contain synthetic fragrances or preservatives, and it deeply nurtures the skin, plus it helps to improve elasticity and stimulates cell renewal.
A family-owned businness, Coce was founded by Kayon Reynalls. She fell pregnant with her daughter over six years ago and decided to change her lifestyle. While still expecting, Kayon started to formulate her own body butters with naturally-delivered ingredients, which she used to blend in her kitchen. Ultimately, she envisioned the brand, which got its name thanks to a play on words. “It’s a derivative of coconut oil and cocoa butter”, Kayon explained to us.
By using fairtrade and GMO-free ingredients, Coce works with organic where possible. Furthermore, it only sources from ethical suppliers, while the Prickly Pear Oil & Mullein Oil Body Cream and its upcoming products are developed through research and testing. According to Kayon, the brand wants to “advocate for a healthy, happy and balanced life”. Luckily, as you may assume, Coce have several new products coming out in October.
Coce sounds utterly interesting as a brand, which clearly means we have tested the Prickly Pear Oil & Mullein Oil Body Cream. As previously mentioned, it smells amazing as it contains grapefruit, neroli, tangerine and red mandarin oils. It also boasts vitamin B5 and E, plus elderberry flower and vanilla fruit extracts. It feels really moisturising and it keeps the skin visibly hydrated for over two hours.
By the way, Coce is hosting a competition on its Instragram. To win a Prickly Pear Oil & Mullein Oil Body Cream (worth £34), you simply need to like this image, tag a friend and follow the brand’s account as well as Morning Beauty’s account. Good luck!
