INSIDE THE TREATMENT: CRÈME DE LA MER’S EXPRESS TREATMENT AT JOHN LEWIS

MORNING BEAUTY’S EDITOR VISITED CRÈME DE LA MER AT JOHN LEWIS. HERE SHE DETAILS EVERY STEP OF THE BRAND’S SIGNATURE FACIAL
Crème de la Mer invited me to try its Express Treatment facial at John Lewis in Oxford Street. I finally popped up there a couple of weeks ago, and I was warmly received by the brand’s senior therapist in the UK, Hayley Jordan. She made me feel very comfortable and carefully analysed my skin before starting the treatment, which usually takes around 35-40 minutes and is perfect if you’re on the go.
First Hayley gently removed my makeup with Crème de la Mer’s Cleansing Gel, which is a foaming cleanser formulated with pearl powder, sea salt, kelp protein and sea whip and seaweed extracts. Following she used the brand’s Tonic and Treatment Lotion, the latter applied with her bare hands directly on my face.
After my complexion was completely purified and prepared with the previously mentioned products, Hayley applied the Intensive Revitalizing Mask, which was recently enlisted on Morning Beauty’s Top 10 Hydrating Masks. During the 10 minutes the mask should be working, she massaged my hair and scalp.
Hayley subsequently applied Crème de la Mer’s Lifting Contour Serum and the Eye Balm Intense. She finished the facial with the Moisturizing Gel Cream, and I swear I could have stayed there for hours. That said, the Moisturizing Gel Cream is the lighter version of the brand’s eponymous moisturiser and it’s beautifully formulated with seaweed extract, alfafa seed powder, sesame seed oil and vitamin E.
Crème de la Mer’s facial at John Lewis is really good if you want to de-stress while shopping or if you work nearby Oxford Circus. It’s a quick treatment that will surely lift your mood and give your skin a radiance boost. Crème de la Mer’s Express Treatment is available at the brand’s counter in John Lewis (for more information or to book an appointment, please ask on counter).
